The other day melanie and i was consulting Tommy, he seems to be like he is 80 yrs old. what i mean 80 yrs old isn't the look or anything but... the wisdom. haha. He got so many reference! its like no matter what topic you are consulting, he will remember the title, where he saw it, and information about it, website, he even remember the yr he saw it! i wonder how he remember those things so detail.
I was doing my p4 research just now, then i saw this.. OMG~ the lyrics.. it is getting more and more touching!
Dear Mr. Jesus,
I just had to write to you
Something really scared me,
when I saw it on the news
A story 'bout a little girl
beaten black and blue Jesus,
thought I'd take this
right to you
Dear Mr. Jesus,
I don't understand
Why they took her mom and dad away
I know that they don't mean to hit
with wild and angry hands
Tell them just how big they are
I pray
Please don't let them hurt your children
We need love and shelter from the storm
Please don't let them hurt your children
Won't you keep us safe and warm
Dear Mr. Jesus,
they say that she may die
Oh I hope the doctors stop the pain
I know that you could save her
and take her up to the sky
So she would never have to hurt again
Please don't let them hurt your children..
Dear Mr. Jesus,
please tell me what to do
And please don't tell my daddy
But my mommy hits me, too.
Please don't let them hurt your children...
She hears his heavy breathing in the dark
His footsteps coming closer down the hall
She's so ashamed, she's daddy's secret love
She wants to cry, she wants to die, but he can't get enough
The bruises on his face will go away
Mom keeps him home from school till they fade
She's sorry he was born and tells him so
He takes it in, he hangs his chin, he ducks another blow
Did God overlook it
What ought have been written
The eleventh commandment
Honor thy children
He cries for hours, cries and never stops
He shakes so hard his little cradle rocks
He'll never have the chance to be brand new
He'll never walk, he'll never talk, he's addicted too
Did God overlook it
What ought have been written
The eleventh commandment
Honor thy children
Thou shalt not kill
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain
Thou shalt not cause thy children pain
God does not overlook it
What ought have been written
The eleventh commandment
Honor thy children
Honor thy children
